Our commitment lies in re-imagining corporate conferences, product launches and celebratory dinners as a force for good, leaving a positive impact on both the planet and its people.
Our ethos revolves around being a small yet dynamic team, leading with sustainable event management in the events industry and to contribute positively to the Bedford community and the businesses within it.
We’re not just talking the talk; we’re walking the walk. At Brightspace Events, we’re on a mission to tackle the climate emergency head-on.
We’ve declared a “No-Fly Commitment” because we know that air travel is one of the most damaging things we do. If we absolutely must fly for an event-critical reason, we’re going economy, direct routes, and exploring legit carbon offset schemes.
But that’s not all – we’re revolutionising the events and supplier game too. As well as ensuring that ‘impact’ information on destinations and venues is part of the initial conversation, we’re also introducing the idea of delicious meat-free or vegan menus.
And let’s not forget about our supply chain – we’re scrutinising it for the good stuff and actively supporting ethical, minority owned, local businesses.
Our voluntary work in the charity sector sees us currently supporting 4 different charities with their fundraising events to support our commitment to becoming a purpose led business.
We are looking for progress; not perfection. While we’re on the journey to becoming a B-Corp event management company, we know it takes time. But every little step, every change we make, counts. Here’s to creating a positive impact on our planet and your events, one step at a time!
